Those are nice looking. Will consider, thanks for the link!
You will save a lb or less with the Ti lugs per car set over steel per the manufacturer. I guess if you were at the racers edge it might make a difference. For my C7 Vette, that would not be the case. Looks like the wheel torque settings for the Ti lugs are the same as steel per the lug manufacturer. That is good to know since Ti is not as strong steel but almost as strong.

The total unthreaded first 1/4 inch of each stud is blue in color on every single stud the full 1/4 inch, purposefull corrosion protection.

They are not plated, they have a aluminum or stainless skin. The open titanium lug is light weight x 20. Rotational mass.

never had an issue with rust using open lug nuts. Which I have used constantly for 20 years on all my race and track cars. In fact I wouldn't think you could pass tech with a closed lug nut.

Totally needless potential hassle, imho. But, to each his/her own.

100 ft lb according to the owners manual. As an off topic aside R&T had the torque specs on the Huracan listed at 440 ft lbs in this months issue. How would you like to have to change a wheel on that car on the side of the freeway at midnight in a rain shower??

Why? I always thought the open ended nuts where just so you could use longer studs and not worry about bottoming out the nuts before they were seated property on the wheels. The only thing I've heard of falling tech is center caps since they often don't stay put on track (like due to heating up the hubs or other stress forces).

That is probably a centerlock wheel with one nut - It isn't that hard to do with the proper torque wrench although it is over 3' long. My previous car used centerlock wheels and once you got the hang of it it wasn't that much more difficult than a regular 5 lug wheel.

If you are looking for open ended titanium lug nuts look into Ozmo engineering - $150 for a set of true titanium lug nuts, unfortunately they seem to be out of stock at the moment.
