Receive my QuickJack from Costco today. Boxes were beat to **** but Chinese corrugated materials are **** to begin with, and I'm sure UPS was very gentle with them
No instructions as I'm sure they came out of the box that was missing 1 sq ft of it's side (thanks UPS), but the video was all that was needed
Setup is very easy, basically didn't need the instructions. It's not like you can put the fittings in the wrong spot.
Mine came with the new updated pump that has a self venting fill plug on the tank. (this was not covered in the video so threw me off a bit)
Tank took 2 quarts to get things running and then a small top off after running it up and down a few times. So the 2.1qts is probably spot on.
I had to take the Schrader valves out and rewrap the teflon tape. Apparently on the other side of the world they wrap teflon tape the opposite direction.
I'm not a small guy and yet there was plenty of room. Purchased so I could put a borla x pipe on (not a fan of jack stands). However; I think the cost of the lift made this a very expensive X-Pipe... But the it'll get plenty of use with other tasks, or at least that's how I justified it in my mind. X-Pipe sounds amazing BTW!
Mine arrives in similar condition, only I had broken/damaged wheels and hardware on the end and a leaking main cylinder. Got most of my issues solved but took weeks.
me too...took 3 deliveries and and about a month to piece a system together.
I received boxes 1 and 2 today and they were beat to no end. One of the jacks has deep scratches all the way to the metal and very little left of the warning label on the end of the jack. Jesus Christ what in the hell is UPS doing? And leave it to UPS to deliver 2 of the 3 boxes today and box 3 coming on Monday. All 3 boxes shipped on the same day.

The contents of the boxes are insanely heavy for the packaging they are in. QJ depends on the fact the units are rugged steel for protection. Would cost a fortune to ship in proper packaging. Mine were okay inside but could never have returned them in the packaging received. They are just playing the odds on shipping damage, and apparently winning at this point.

Ditto for me, the power pack/accessories box did not arrive today, only the two ramps. Good job I'm not in a hurry to use it.
Don't get me started on the boys in the big brown bread truck......
My x pipe literally coming from 30 miles across town has never shown after 16 days.....my wheels are due in today from them and I'm nervous as a ho in church.....
On to the 5000......I'm thinking the 7000 so I can do brakes/tire rotations on my Silverado.....not a Costco member so does anyone know if QuickJack, or anyone else runs a Xmas sale?
To those getting theirs recently, congrats, hope all your components show up and y'all get some lift time!
I got mine through Home Depot and opted to pick them up in store.
My thought was if they were beat up I would refuse them.
They arrived in perfect condition and they even loaded them in my truck for me.
As for lifting I use 1 rubber block and a hockey puck.
I bought a bag of a dozen pucks on Ebay for about a buck apiece.
Use them anytime I lift with a floor jack or quick jack.
I just use the rubber blocks that come with it on my C5 with my 5000slx I got a couple years ago.
Ended up buying the pinch-weld blocks to use for the other car I have.
I have a set of snap-in pucks from Amazon that I use with my C7. Used the same pucks on two different C7's and they work great. I use the tall blocks on the QJ. I use the **** out of that thing. Some times I just lay under the car and admire the engineering
Mine was delivered to the same address different street name about 5 blocks away. The lady called me. I started to go get it. When I out of the driveway here came the UPS truck. Some how he realized what he had done and went back and got it. Just like everyone else, the boxes were destroyed. I ordered mine right from the company. They need better packaging.
