I use removable jacking pucks from Wildvettes and the smaller blocks supplied by Quickjack. I have lowered the car on the stock bolts and I have installed CF side skirts and the combination clears them easily.

I use the jack pucks that you can get from just about any vendor here on the forum and the smaller of the blocks that come with the quick jack. The stability is just fine. I've had my quick jack since September and have used it probably 10 times already. I've had my C6 and C7 Z06 on it and my friend's BMW i8 and his BMW M6 convertible as well. Very versatile tool.

Good to hear. My Z06 is lowered on stock bolts, with the full 3LZ/Z07 packages and I was concerned about clearance.
Old hockey pucks here, there cheap (if not free) at most local rinks.
Hockey pucks work as good or better than all of those special order units. You can get them on line from any online store or get some used ones from E**y. If you live up north you can probably get them at any sporting goods store.
...but I make sure they're aligned well before jacking.
Watching videos of the Quick Jack in action it appears to pivot forward slightly as it comes up. How do you account for that in order to ensure it’s properly aligned onto the small pucks?

I make sure to have plenty of room between the the wall or the garage door (you can use the Quickjack in either direction). The car will move 12" to 18". I place the rails under the car and line up the rubber blocks so they are close. Then I raise the rails until they are about to touch and realign the rubber blocks before actually making contact. I then raise the lifts until the body raises an inch or so and recheck everything before lifting the rest of the way. If you lower the rails all the way at any time make sure to go through the checks again prior to lifting as a puck may fall out or the rails could shift. I lowered the lift to put oil in one time and didn't recheck the alignment before starting to lift the car again. I almost damaged a side skirt because the puck had shifted. Now I never take all the weight off the rails until I am done. I lower the car until the tires just touch if I plan to raise it again.

I just raise the jack to a point just before touching the pucks and align the small QuickJack blocks before raising the car. Haven't had a problem doing it that way and haven't noticed a shift after the fact.
Receive my QuickJack from Costco today. Boxes were beat to **** but Chinese corrugated materials are **** to begin with, and I'm sure UPS was very gentle with them
No instructions as I'm sure they came out of the box that was missing 1 sq ft of it's side (thanks UPS), but the video was all that was needed
Setup is very easy, basically didn't need the instructions. It's not like you can put the fittings in the wrong spot.
Mine came with the new updated pump that has a self venting fill plug on the tank. (this was not covered in the video so threw me off a bit)
Tank took 2 quarts to get things running and then a small top off after running it up and down a few times. So the 2.1qts is probably spot on.
I had to take the Schrader valves out and rewrap the teflon tape. Apparently on the other side of the world they wrap teflon tape the opposite direction.
I'm not a small guy and yet there was plenty of room. Purchased so I could put a borla x pipe on (not a fan of jack stands). However; I think the cost of the lift made this a very expensive X-Pipe... But the it'll get plenty of use with other tasks, or at least that's how I justified it in my mind. X-Pipe sounds amazing BTW!

Mine arrives in similar condition, only I had broken/damaged wheels and hardware on the end and a leaking main cylinder. Got most of my issues solved but took weeks.
