Default Switching back to stock M7 shifter ?

Taking out the MGW shifter to re-install the stock shifter. Can't seem to find anything about how to align the lower box or shifter for the stock unit. Is it straight forward?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I can't help you but why are you taking out the MGW? I'm thinking of getting one.

Trading for a 2019 and I want to put it in the new one verses buying another one. When I traded my C6 I let the MGW go with the car and bought a new one for the C7 so I don't want to purchase it the 3rd time.

Hey check this thread out here --> https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...k-shifter.html

Where it describes the "shift control neutral lock pin" is what you want to do. That pin will lock the shifter and help you align it. It is built into the stock shifter.

Hope that helps!

Contact the owner of MGW George Ciamillio at (706) 793-1770. He will gladly tell you how to make any adjustment. George is a cool guy, a big race rat too. George knows his products better than anybody.

Don't forget you will need to replace the lower shift boot (cause you cut it). And hopefully you saved the upper boot.
