Any Chevy dealer (or GM dealer) should be able to perform warranty work. They may give you a hard time if you didn't buy the car from them.
Call for an appointment and see if they will take care of you.

There have been some members that have had a dealer refuse to do warranty work if the car was not bought at that dealership. It seems to only be a problem around New York City. My local dealers are all more than happy to provide service even though I bought from out of state.

I bought my car where I knew I'd get an allocation back in '15. I service at a local dealer and they are great. They don't care where it was bought.

I also bought my car from a high volume Corvette dealer one hour away where I knew the allocations were present and I expected the service department would be good at Corvettes given the volume of Corvettes sold. Well, I was wrong. So, I went to a nearer small town Chevy dealer last week, who are a Certified Corvette Service Department and talked to the service people and they are more than happy to perform any warranty or service required. They seem a lot more interested in meeting my needs and having me as a customer than where i purchased.

Most Service Dept. managers couldn't care less where a car was purchased. They want to earn your return business. As one once told me, I have to meet my revenue targets, and the sales manager has to meet his. We operate totally independently.

Pick a Dealership that you like with a Service Department that you have confidence in, and go there for your service and periodic maintenance work. The service department is the heart and life blood of the Dealership, and how they run their side of the business is a reflection of how the Dealership feels about it's Customer base in general.

Yup, same here. Since my C7 is in a different dealer for collision, I asked their Service Advisor for some warranty work (driver, pax, center arm rests), letting them know I did not buy from them. Answer: "Yeah, well, I don't get commission regardless of where you bought it from... let's fix it.".

If you are experiencing the shudder in your new car I would suggest ordering the Range AFM defeat device. Run it all the time but remove it when you take your car in for service.
