Default Purge valve solenoid

Can someone please tell me where the purge valve solenoid is...I got the check engine light, took it to auto zone, they read the code and said I needed a purge valve solenoid. I've "you tubed" it and I think it is under the driver's side by the rear wheel next to the transmission. just want to hear some thoughts before trying to tackle this project

You have some diagnostic work to do before you just skip to replacing the purge solenoid. No matter what autozone says.

^^^
+1 Did you try clearing the code first. It could be a one-off.

Found it under the hood, under the passenger side plastic engine cove. Replace the solenoid, unplugged the battery for five minutes. Fixed

Thanks for the update. Did you take any photos of the repair process? Might come in handy to others in the future experiencing a similar issue.

Sorry, I did not, but coincidentally, the purge valve is located right under your photo. If you pull that plastic cover off...you'll see the purge valve right under the "e" in corvette" on the passenger side.

It should still be covered under the federal emission warranty, even after the manufacturers warranty is expired.
