Are we still beating this horse???? If you want a Corvette with round tails, there are others available besides a C7.

That Italian kit was never made. RPI started making a round tail light rear end, posted it on CorvetteForum and it was an overwhelming flop. They never made it. C7 Corvette Rear Bumper w/Round taillights - Our first shot, are we on right track?
Interesting to see that some of those basing the C7 back then are the same ones basing the C8 now.

Not beating a horse nor do I want round tail lights on my C7Z. My question was whether anyone has ever seen a conversion kit installed or whether anyone actually took the leap and performed the mod? I remember there were a lot of upset traditionalists screaming for round tail lights after the C7 was introduced so I’m curious if anyone acted on those impulses, but per the post above, it sounds like the kits were never produced.

Yikes, some people never give up. Round taillights are GONE FOR THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE AND THAT IS A VERY GOOD THING. I have a C6 and a C7 and I like them both for different reasons and I never look at the C7 and wish the friggin taillights were round. So why this obsession keeps going on about keeping the past is beyond me. Round taillights on any of these new designs would look like total azz. Please. Design moves on and should not be a repeat of the past. If you want the old stuff, buy the old stuff and be done with it. Stop beating the dead horse because no one really gives a damn.
Hopefully chrome wheels will get right in there with round taillights sooner than later.

MMD, define "soon". They won't be round on the C8.

my crystal ball is no better then yours. Circle shaped lens will always be a part of the automotive world. They can be very decorative if done properly. Take a look at Ferrari supercars. At some point in time someone in GM might just say we need to do a retro version of this car.

Genovation is doing an electric version using a Grand Sport or Z06 as the starting block. They thought it needed the round tail lights.
