My Harbor Frieght Orbital works great for 1/2 the price of any other I have seen , been going strong for over 4 years and many different cars
I get my foam pads from Auto Zone .....again at 1/2 the price of what some of the name companies are selling them for and these are not the junk pads that fly apart while u are using them
The real workout for this polisher is when I do my BLACK Expedition
Sits outside and does not have a swirl mark in it ...

- best buffer for the money - period. Other brands are 2x and 3x the money but are the same quality as the one from Harbor... Harbor Freight also sells all the pads you will need too.
Surely you are kidding right ....
Your not one of those guys who thinks because you paid a lot more it has to be better are u LoL
Dave
Definitely kidding...I only have a measly 2LT car - LOL
Just didn't think Joe would buy the low cost option of anything -
On edit: With that said, I did buy a Harbor Freight "sawzall" once and the internals broke before I was done sawing through the exhaust pipe that I was working - LOL. Its motor would still run but the blade remained stationary. So my point is that with all tool companies, some tools are actually pretty good while others from the same company might not be so great, so it's good to hear that the Harbor Freight polisher is actually a good option for folks to choose from. Just don't buy one of their "sawzalls" and expect much from it.
I have Griot’s Garage 10813 and Porter Cable 7424XP and like them both. If I had to pick one over the other, then it’d probably be the PC, but you can’t go wrong with either...

I have the Harbor Freight polisher and did as noted above. Made it much quieter and should boost longevity. Bought mine for about $50 and ordered 6 assorted pads from ebay. Works great for me.
I also have a Turtle Wax 10 inch random orbital I've had for many years that I still use as well. It also has been good for my purposes.

Get the Meguiars orbital, it's great. I bought one even though I already had another and it works great. Could be their polish, but I get 90% of what a rotary result is with this orbital and their microfibre (dumb name) polish.
I've got a hunch its a relabel so could be the same as the Griots.
I have the Griots Garage 6 inch orbital and the Porter Cable 7424. I would recommend the Griots over the Porter Cable if your choice comes down to these two units. The porter Cable stalls out too much on the sharp angles and valleys of the car.

I second the Meguiars orbital, mine has been going strong for 4 years
I have not used one of Adam's full size polishers but I do have the Adam's Swirl Killer Mini. It's a very well built polisher. It has as much power as my full size Meguiar's polisher and based on that I would recommend Adam's polishers. When it comes time to replace my Meguiar's I will be buying another Adam's. .
I have the Torq 22D and I wish I knew more about dual action buffers, because it’s huge, and I would just go with a 15mm throw, vs a 21mm. 3 inch would probably be perfect for a C7, but take much longer. If you don’t want to buy 2 polishers. You will need a smaller polisher to get into the dips.
