I checked MacMulkin yesterday and saw some 16% discounts on 2019 Grand Sports.

.
Seems other manufacturers are more forthcoming... or am I imagining that?

Unless you bought a ZR1, which is new for 2019, from what I can tell there are Zero differences between the 2018's & 2019's besides a couple of exterior color changes - and no one has said Shadow Gray makes the C7 a better car than if it was painted Watkins Glen Gray. Since the introduction of the Z06, A8, PDR and Front Cameras in 2015, and the GS in 2017, there haven't been any significant changes to the C7 whatsoever since its introduction as a 2014 model.

^^^
Good points. Apply Car/Play made my decision to get a 2LT not the 3LT I had in my 2014 better as no need for the GM NAV I had with updates costing >$200 that are now free. It displays in the full screen and talks to me via the cars sound system.

I paid ~$350 for the MRC update and although worth it, with the 2019 it comes installed.

One other item that is very important that was not in my 3LT 2014 is the front camera. After a few close incidents with concrete tire stops I was backing into parking slots. PIA in a mall, Home Deport etc.

The complete lack of info is also keeping a lot of people on the sidelines...

And if I were considering a 2019 I would wait until the ME was released for two reasons;
1) if I liked the new ME I would be in a position to buy it without loosing my a-s on a recently purchased 2019 C7.
2) If I did not like the ME when I physically got see one I could then buy a 2019 C7 at a hugh discount.

So waiting is a win-win.
If you hated the ME then likely so would many other people, so the discounts you think you'd get on a 2019 C7 may not materialize.

Well I was in the same place as you and just decided I better not wait any longer to get the car of my dreams, the dealership said 10-12 wks but I have a production date and subsequent delivery set up for 6 wks after I took the dealership the deposit.

Just decide whether you want a Corvette or a Lambovette and buy it. I ordered my ZO6 vert to get what I exactly wanted. The C8 will be a whole different beast.

IMO, better paint work and fit and finish on the 2019's
