Once you go remote start you don't go back....

 

 

You don't need the app, just the fob.

Press and release lock, then hold the start arrow a couple of seconds.

The Chevy App is an option for Auto's but not necessary to use your key fob to start your car......one of the better features to keep the neighbors happy when I leave early for the track on weekends. I can start the car from the kitchen and let it idle down before opening up the big door.

 

No, verts don't. That button is reserved for remote top down, which, I think, has one hell of a lot more value, particularly on a hot day. I live in the La area, so I use it multiple times most every day of the year, including today.

So my guys with 14 a6 Vert, first are they 1lt? second, if you have a 14 C7 A6 Vert 1lt, can i get a pic of your fob? front back, and inside. I'd like to order one to try. Bought a used 14 and it comes with a 5 button, no remote start button.

All automatics (even Verts) have a remote start. It's not a function of trim level, but of transmission. In '14 it was a selling point.

If your used car came with a fob that has no remote start button, it's because the P.O. (or dealer) replaced it with something else.

I just opened my FOB and it says 434 Mhz inside.
