To all helping........ I had, in fact read the manual when I purchased my car....just didn't pick up on the sensor. So now, with all your help, am aware of it, thanks to all and Merry Christmas.

From what I have heard there is an inclination sensor also. I guess if you did not have your key FOB with you and say you where going to jack up your car to work underneath, the alarm would go off if the car was locked and armed. Merry Xmas. Aloha.
There's 2 things that can be done if the car is set to Auto lock when someone is left in the car.
As mentioned, hit the Motion sensor button so the alarm will not sound if you want the car locked with someone inside.
If you do not want the car locked with someone inside, ... when you open the driver door, press and hold the Unlock button on the door until it beeps 3 times.
That will disable Auto lock allowing the person inside to move around and/or get out or back in the car without the Alarm going off.
Auto lock will stay disabled until you active ACC mode, Service mode, or start the vehicle again
