Yes, I do wax the the carbon flash 'painted' black exterior plastic trim items such as the hood/side vents, side shirts, rear diffuser...etc. as they need protection, but DO NOT wax the non-painted plastic splitters, splash guards and wheel spats etc.

This waxing business can be pretty confusing to someone who's a newish Vette owner & have never owned a fiberglass bodied car before!
I met a vette guy from Clever up north from me in Missouri & he's been detailing Vette's/cars for 15yrs & swears by Meguires products & told me to visit Autogeek for discounts.
