Default Remote re-learn

Trying to get my car to relearn the remotes. Mine had a replacement remote added and is remote#3. So my memory seat setting dont work. Trying to start over and program as #1 and #2. Any ideas or is this a dealer problem only?

If you don't have a Canadian car you can do it.

See post 1 in here, click on "First Table - C7 FOB Programming". It's a pdf doc. If you have problems, the thread is long with lots of problems talked about and most resolved:

Rick gave you the bible thread on FOBs. Follow the instructions for the "Long Procedure" and you'll have #1 & #2 easy as pie.

Had a little trouble understood the long process but couldnt get it to go into long reset process. The trouble was it was still reading my key fobs even though they were in the house in drawer. So attempted the process again but i put the fobs in gun box lined with foam stuck it in closet. Car could no longer read them and it worked. It does take some time but worth it. Everything works as it should. Seat memory recall works and now i have a driver #1 and #2.

OMG, your fobs are made of Kryptonite and had to be shielded. Congrats on the reprogram.
