Did you ever swap the OEM pads? Very unusual wear pattern.

Well it's apparent there is a problem with the pad(s) but you need to find out if the rotor is warped and how this happened. Did you see any notices at all on the DIC?

Check for a piece of debris lodged between pad and rotor.

^^^

Yep, looks like it might be something that got between the pad and rotor and imbedded. Will be interesting to see what the dealer finds.

My C7 was a leftover so it sat at the dealer for a full year. When I bought it, the rotors had some surface rust.

The first few miles on the road did 2 things. 1- it cleaned the rotors and 2- it carved some lines into the pads.

So now that the pads had lines, they were never going to wear flat/even and the lines were going to keep coming back on the rotors.

So I installed Carbotech pads, cleaned the rotors with an emery cloth and it's been fine ever since...

From the pic, it looks like the constant contact made it so hot, that it burned part of the 'CORVETTE' off the caliper.

To me looks like part of the pad didn't contact the rotor hence the rusting. Broke pad?

Update on pad / rotor.... picked it up from the dealer today.... replaced “All” rotors and pads ...said there were “out of spec” had some warpage ....really on a 2019 ? I did have some pulsation but you would think if they were all effected (warped) there would be much more than a minor pulsation I experience......just passing it along

Interesting. Glad you got it sorted out. And it didn't even have 147 miles on it when you got it back. LUCKY !!!!!
