If it's a plastic poverty splitter just replace it for ~$100. It will bend and the fill repair may not hold when you inevitable hit it again!
My Stage 2 Aero Option is Carbon Fiber painted carbon flash. I have installed a Scrape Armor "Splitter Protector" that has already paid for itself:
THE TEFLON LIKE MATERIAL THE "PROTECTOR" IS MADE FROM PROTRUDES 1/4 INCH BELOW SPLITTER AND HELPS IF GOING DOWN A STEEP DRIVEWAY. CAN'T HELP IF HITTING AN 18 WHEELER TIRE TREAD IN THE ROAD, etc!
There is enough material that you can sand a paint. I’ve used Dupli-Color trim paint in the past on other vehicles with great results. It blends well and has the same matte black finish... or, as mentioned, just replace it.
The splitter is attached with several screws and metal rivets that will have to be drilled out. I replaced mine when installing a Stage 3...
