They are an absolutely great wheel.
The black C7 wheels are fine as they have so much open area that you can actually see the wheel against the rotor. Things like the Z black wheels have so many spokes it becomes a black hole.

I purchased my used ZO6 with chrome wheels because I knew I was going aftermarket. I got out of the black/chrome box all together

Yes when the brake calipers are other than black so that they stand out such as red.
