Default Time frame

I never ordered a car from the factory so wondering what the time frame is between t.p.w. and dealers "pick up your car" call. Thanks.

Depends where you live. Generally speaking, 7 weeks to East coast, 8 weeks to West coast.

Sorry, I missed the "tpw" in your initial question. For me, four weeks from "tentative production week" to delivery. Car was built on 10/15, delivered to the dealer on 11/14.

Also HUGELY depends if the dealer has allocations or not as well as there being any constraints on your ordered options

I ordered an ELBM (new color) before the date that GM announced it would start building that color - which was Oct. 1st. My car was built the W/O 10/15 and arrived at my local dealer (on the West Coast) on Nov 3rd and I picked it up on Nov 6th.

So that was under 3 weeks!

Would be surprised if allications are a factor anymore. Pretty sure I read a while back that there are plenty of slots any dealer could pick. Unsure about constraints, but would be surprised after 6MYs
if there are supply issues...constraints/allocations are buzz words at release and until the hype dies down

From my experience all over the ball-park. The last I ordered was nearly three months and was actually ordered while I and the dealer's Corvette guy and I sat at the computer together. But, I do live in the middle of nowhere.

Valid point. Still, if you look at the sticky post about constraints, there are still some it seems
