Touching up a small scrape on my ACS Splitter, carbon flash. Using the AC Delco Lacquer Touchup Paint. Looks dull, do I need to hit it with clear-coat? I was assuming since it was a touchup paint it was mixed in.

Not sure how bad the scrape is. I bought ACS composite Rockguard kit and it came with the bottle of carbon flash touch up paint. You brush it on and really matches. It does for small nicks. Not sure if you can use it for your splitter. They might carry it in a spray.
I did the same ... and yes ...then compound to blend ...then wax
Did the same? Just buffed it? I just went out a bought a can of clear acrylic to spray on it. Was going to get lacquer but the sales guy talked me out of it - said it was super hard to use.
Never did this before so the painting is an experiment for me.
It is not shown under C7 Corvettes for some odd reason. Search on color code 58U and it will come up. It is used by a number of brands and manufacturers. I have used it on many under hoid parts.
