Default Broken X-Pipe hanger

Had my buddies Callway up on the lift getting ready for a couple days at Sebring and found this. The rubber absorber is split, anyone run into this before? I've never seen one split.

Hmm, was curious if it was your pic being too dark to see the "split" so lightened.

Still don't see what you are referring to? Can you place and arrow on pic where the "split is?"

^^^The rubber piece is split. You can see a portion of it still on top of the bracket.

Yep, was not looking there! Using circles or arrows is a big help!

Yup that is it, the one with the circle around it. So has anyone seen this before?

I installed a new exhaust on my car and can confirm that those hanger bushings are rock solid. Either it was damaged durning assembly, by Callaway, or perhaps he hit the undercarriage on something... or maybe it was just defective, but certainly not common.

They are tough but get stretched quite a bit when being pulled off. I wonder if it was torn a little when the exhaust was swapped. Either way this is a pretty easy fix!

When you get the new one, put a little dish soap on the holes first and it will slide on much easier.
