Default Front Splitter

Hey guys. I just bought a new (Well Certified Pre-Owned) 2017 Z51 and it is awesome. It was in the garage this morning and I noticed that under the bumper is the plastic piece that I call the curb stop. It is the piece that typically scrapes on steep driveways. On the new car the middle piece is not there. I had one on my 2016 Convertible but it is missing on the new one. Is this an option? My car is a 2LT and the convertible was just a 1LT. I am a bit baffled??? Anyone know the answer to this mystery?

That piece is called the air dam and on the Z51, the center piece isn't used.

So yours is exactly as it should be

In case you're asking to install one here is a stage 2 splitter from ACS

Since we are talking spitters I plan on getting my front one fromACS. Did you go with the added tray with your splitter. Also did all your factory holes line up correctly. Thanks

^^ I bought mine direct from ACS. I got the carbon flash one without the undertray, it was $860 shipped to my door and the holes did match up. I think it took me like 20-30 minutes to remove the poverty splitter and install the ACS, taking my time. I am very happy with it.

Gotta love how a thread started by a relative noob about the center section of the Z51 air dam turns into a sales thread for a splitter

Ain't free enterprise great!
