My wife’s BMW SUV is offset to the passenger side just like my Grand Sport! It works!

We know a guy who's an award-winning tow truck driver for AAA, he says that winching on one side is no problem. They use rollbacks. When the car gets far enough that the cable starts to angle downward, they stop winching and raise the bed, then winch the rest of the way while flat. Been doing that for about 10 years with never any damage or complaints.

I've been meaning to check my base (non-Z51) Stingray for some time now, actually since I purchased the car back in September. Ends up that my car has both the front and rear receiver for the tow hook. Wanted to update this thread since I was on here looking for the factory part number to purchase one.
