Over ride interior lights
Is there an over ride to keep my head lights from coming on when I open the door ?
Also,I want to keep the door open on my '19 GS without the interior lights staying on. Is there a switch on the dash somewhere.
Thank you again,

Try keeping your door open for 5 or 10 mins. I suspect they will turn off. This is true for the rear hatch.
Guess you can tell my age from all that

Thank you,

Give it a try. May not work exactly as you want but it's the only thing available for the light control for the dash, courtesy and interior lights. The reading lamps in the overhead console can be turned on off by pressing the switch beside them.

From the manual.
Interior Lighting
Interior Light Control
The **** for this feature is on the
left side of the instrument panel.
Turn clockwise or counterclockwise
to brighten or dim the lights. Turn
the **** completely clockwise to
turn the interior lights on.
Courtesy Lamps
When any door or the hatch/trunk is
opened, the interior lamps will
come on.
To turn the courtesy lamps on or off,
turn the instrument panel brightness
**** completely clockwise or
counterclockwise.
