Drove to Cincinnati 2 weeks ago and drove home Wednesday in pouring both ways. Only felt uncomfortable once in the high water in Louiseville should have bailed at Gene Synder.
A year ago while on my cross country trip, I left relatives in Dallas with temps in the low 40's and rain, headed for Amarillo. On the way, temps dropped and I could see ice forming on wire fences and road signs but the roads were okay. The car never shrunk though.
Mine was my daily to and from school ('bout nine miles each way, flat drive) but on those snowy icy days here in western WA State
my lovely bride would drive me in the Prius....just the lack of traction as the primary concern....
OK brother, I'm checking the rule book on this. That has got to be a violation for sure.
OP, I cleaned our GS up, and was all prepared to drive it to Myrtle Beach, SC for three weeks. Checked out the weather for that area, and just backed it back into the garage. In the last two weeks the sun has only been out two days. I don't mine it getting rained on, but I would like it to be clean a few days in a row.
No, however you can be accused of having a filthy C7, glad that pleases you so. As Corvette ownership is much about pleasure regardless of how that pleasure is achieved, by driving in bad weather or just being admired sitting in a garage.
