Default Automatic transmission problem

Hello, I have a 2014 C7 with automatic transmission. It has less than 11,000 miles. On rare occasions it takes a long time to shift from 1st to 2nd. Between 40-50mph. Has anyone else had this problem. Thanks

Haven't heard too much about the A6 having problems but anything is possible. Will follow this to see what others have to say.

Shift flair , common problem with the A6 , not just in the vette but all cars and trucks that have the trans . have to clear the trans adapts , do a garage relearn , then do the street relearn process ...will feel like a new trans

If this occurs when the car is cold the transmissions will hold a gear longer than normal

It will also take longer to shift at low RPMs.

Shift at WOT, and it will shift like bam! Literally.

Being a 2014 I'd start with a transmission service: new fluids, new filter..... it's six years old

I strongly recommend you check the "in Service" date for this car. If it was put in service less than 5 years ago, the drivetrain is still covered by the 60 month, 100,000 mile warranty. I'd take it to a dealer today to find out. You will have to pay for the routine service of the transmission, but any non-routine maintenance may be covered by the factory warranty.
