I don't know how my local Chevrolet dealer sells any Corvettes, all of the 2019 models on the lot are only marked down a few thousand dollars under stick price, there is no way they can compete with some of the forum dealers here

For most people, car shopping is a local experience. Many do not know of the forum dealers and the prices they offer.

Last September I was told there were lots of C7's out there on dealers lots. Being just south of Buffalo NY there were few new Vettes anywhere near me. My dealer tried for a couple weeks to get one of these C7's that were everywhere unsold but couldn't get any dealer to part with them. I ended up ordering my car from the factory.

Yes. I bought mine at Kerbecks for $49k in November. They are offering even better deals today.

It's paid for.

It comes off the same car carrier as the one that brings it to your local dealer. My Courtesy Delivery Dealer Service Manager called me to see if I wanted to look at it BEFORE they removed the paper. I didn't. When I went the next day he showed me two small places where there was dirt under the clear. I would have never picked those up. We drove it over to their body shop and the anager said he could have it fixed in 2 hours. They did. I'm sure they got paid by GM for that fix as they did for the PDI and installation for the install of my Splitter and Side Skirts (GM pays extra according to the Service Manager- I asked.)

My first new car was bought in 1967, ordered as well. All 5 Vettes were ordered. Have never had a problem! In fact my first Vette was a 1988 and because it was a Standard Shift the dealer said, "Have to ask for a $2000 non refundable down payment as I will have a hard time selling a standard shift around here!" No problem for me.

Yep if you think you will refuse the car and not allow the dealer to fix anything you find- don't do it.
