You are doing the correct thing and going through the BBB which is essentially the lemon law, this will get their attention. Keep after them and make them fix or buy back or replace the car, we paid to much $$$ to accept it. Had a buddy in N.C. and they replaced his car that he got from Hendricks and I told him to make sure his replacement had the new improved differential but he didn't check and the replacement had same Warble. Pathetic GM is still putting these defective cars out the door after 3 yrs. Good luck and keep us posted.
My car also came from Hendericks in Charlotte. Thanks again for all the info and will update after my next appointment.

The local BBB may not get you what you need. Look in the little warranty booklet and in black and white it states if after ample opportunity (3 times for same problem) they, GM will replace or buy back your car. There is a BBB website in the booklet you can access and plug and chug your info into. I think this BBB is a national automotive BBB deal not your local BBB that may can influence your local dealer but the automotive BBB will get GM's attention. The key is, you must give them ample shots at fixing it and if they can't you got them. Keep good records and make sure they document your problem correctly each time you take the car in, that is your paper trail. In my case early on they didn't know what the warble was and now they know and the key is to get them to do the right thing so be persistent. Check out the little warranty book that comes with your OM. Black and white. Good luck

Sent the service manager an email with all the details yesterday and copied the salesman I worked with. NOT A WORD. Going to let the BBB process flow for now and wait and see. Also attached a wav file of the sound to the email. I also did get a better video/sound clip today

Offered to meet and go over the details. I also suggested that they keep my car and give me a loaned (Corvette) and they can drive it for a few days. OR if they prefer that I go to another dealer.. I'm OK with that too.

Also uploaded all communications to BBB. I want to show them I'm trying to resolve the issue.

Hope I am wrong but those SM are so busy they don't have time or will not take time to review what you sent them.

The last time I sent him an email he did respond asap. But thats why I also copied my salesperson. Time will tell.

But also no response from the Corporate office or GM yet.

I'm still enjoying driving my C7. But if all else fails... Got my C3 too!

I read that the Zo6 has beefed up housing and pinion gear, grand sport has the same rear as base just different gears. Could be wrong, hard to get solid infor or pics.

Don't think the base has the ELSD differential but the Z51, GS and Z does. This info taken from GS standard eqp. chart. I think this is one reason why the base has the warble and other models don't. When they bought my base back I opted for the GS so as not to have to deal with that again, hopefully.

Z51 Performance Package, includes (J55) performance brakes, (J6A) Black-painted calipers, slotted brake rotors, (Z52) dry sump oil system, (FE3) Z51 performance suspension, specific shocks, springs and stabilizer bars, (NPP) performance exhaust, (XFJ) P245/35ZR19 front and P285/30ZR20 rear tires, (Q7S) Silver-painted aluminum, 19" front and 20" rear wheels, performance gear ratios, (G96) Electronic Limited Slip Differential (eLSD), (KNR) rear differential cooler, transmission cooling and an Aero Package

GM called me today due to my BBB complaint. Talked for about 15 minutes and was told they would call me back Friday after talking with the local dealership. Still no contact from my dealership after I offered to leave my car with them to get this resolved. GM did ask me what would resolve this issue and I told them FIX IT, REPLACE IT or REFUND.

And it continues........

Good for u. BBB gets their attention. Again if they replace diff. Make sure it is new and improved, not same oe stock they keep putting in these new cars.

I finally got my 19 Vette in to look at the warble and took the mechanic for the test drive. Initially he had a hard time to hear it but eventually he tuned in and he definitely said it wasn't right.

He drained the differential oil and found it slightly low and replaced it and topped off. He took it for a test drive and didn't hear it. I took it home and it was much better but still a faint warble. The next day and ever since I haven't heard it again. Mystery solved for my car, for now anyways. I still have only 2000k on it because of the stupid rain and work!

UPDATE: Service Manager called me today and we talked. I got him to watch and listen to my video and he told me he could hear the issue. Scheduled time to come back in Friday. I also sent him a link to this forum. He called my back again later today and told me that he talked with the techs and 2 of them remember changing out 2 diffs to fix this issue. He agreed that the forum video's also sounded like my issue. He was not sold that a diif fluid change would help, but offered to try that too.

Again... I feel this forum was a great help for me. I truly appreciate everyone response and help. Another update Friday.

Mine is at the dealership now. I took one of them for a ride and they clearly heard the warble without me pointing it out. They told me there is a bulletin that was released for an issue with a differential cover on the drivers side and the replacement part is now on order. I don't enough about the rear differential to even know if there is a cover on the left side but at least they acknowledged the issue exists. Finger crossed.

Several guys have reported they had the cover changed and it fixed their problem. The cover has a bearing of sorts in it that supports the half shaft I think. Good luck with the fix.

My car is @ the dealership. The did hear the issue and tried changing the diff fluid.. No difference. They are keeping the car and gave me a loaner. Was told they would open a case with GM on Monday. Well see where that goes.

Got my car back today and the warble is gone. I spoke to the service rep that told me about the bulletin and he said he was mistaken and that the tech who was working on my car got the info from engineers at GM. They replaced a cover on the left side, 2 seals and new fluid. Here are the part numbers if it will help anyone:

23347667
23347669
23341259
