Default Tire size for 2014 non-Z51 Stingray

I bought a 14 non z51 stingray a few months ago. I have only driven it 200 miles (this damn rain in Houston). I noticed that several times it sounded like my rear tires were rubbing on the fender. I finally got around to look under the car and the lowering bolts are all the way up. The rear tires have rubbed on the back side of the wheel liner. The rear tires are 295/30/20 and the fronts are 255/35/19 with aftermarket Verona wheels. I love the lowered look, but I don’t like the rubbing issue. Should I just raise the bolts on all four corners? Would that do away with the tires rubbing? Thanks

A. Those are after market wheels. You might want to check the offset.
B. The stock rims on the base C7 included 18" front wheels and 19" inch rear wheels. However the Z51 wheels were an option with 20 inch rear wheels and 19 inch front wheels.
You can look up the correct tire size for both base and Z51 wheels on the Tire Rack website.

For what its worth, I like the look of those wheels on your car. Good luck getting it sorted.

Raising it would be the easiest and cheapest way to help alleviate rubbing. It appears the offset of your Verona wheels pushes the tire out farther than OEM wheels - you may need the extra height.

A pic from behind would help us judge the offset. You appear to have a good amount of room in the fender based on that pic.

I have a 17 base (non Z51) stingray and run the following.... zero rubbing on the street or track (road course)

265 / 35 / 19
285 / 35 / 19

Front in the following configuration:
19x9; +44mm offset; 70.3mm hub centric; 5x120.65

Rear:
19x10.5; +66mm offset; 70.3 mm hub centric; 5x120.65

We have Z51 spec 19/20 wheels and tires on our non Z51 2014 with no rubbing issues. Either the wheel offset or the lowering are your issues. Probably both in combination. If I had a rubbing issue, I wouldn't drive the car period. Not worth dying over. And killing someone else doing it.

You could run a very small spacer behind the wheel. I think you said it was rubbing the plastic inner liner.

That is correct. It is rubbing the rear inner liner. I have not driven it since I noticed the rubbing marks. I am just going to raise her back up. Hopefully that will eliminate the issue. Thanks for the compliment GLOCK.
