Hi , Let me see if i understand this correctly. When the cups are in the down position you cant close the lid easily, only by pushing the center of the lid it will close? Or the cups them selfs willl not collapse easily? If the lid doesnot close easily, only by pushing the lid inthe center, is the lid hitting the cups when in the down position somewhere? If so you may not have them centered in the cup holder opening. It has to be centered both lengh and width. Let me know and worst comes to worst i will send you another one.
