You have Micro SD but it should have come with an adapter to the larger SD size, no?
(it's used for the PDR, by the way)

That looks like it's the correct size. That's not a micro sd.

Micro sd has a weird notch on the side.

As others noted that is the correct card and be very careful using a micro SD card plus adapter for anything you consider to be important. A lot of pro photographers have learned that lesson the hard way. Those adapters are often the cause of poor contact and resultant data corruption.
If your device was designed for micro SD then use a micro card, otherwise use the regular SD card.
And be careful where you buy, brand name SD cards are some of the most heavily counterfeited items in the world so buy online with great care.

Agree 100% that is not a Micro card - a Micro Card is smaller than a man's thumbnail. Just put a Micro card into my GARMIN for the addition of European maps.

Funny you mention be careful where you purchase. I purchased a Soresto flea and tick collar for our dog. I did not see an expiration date on it. I called Bayer and inquired about it, turns out It was counterfeit. I gave them the info where I purchased it ( e-bay seller ) that person no longer sells on e-bay, somewhere else maybe, but not e-bay under that name. I also got a flea collar from Bayer for giving them the info.
Thank you,
Rich

- I'd buy
- >128GB does work (don't get mad when you have to constantly change 32GB out if you use it)
- An SD Card v. micro SD Card+adapter - meh - have used them both, no big deal
- Don't cheap out - get U3 UHS-II rated cards and probably one that has brand name (Sandisk, Lexar, PNY, Samsung)
- Keep up with this site for monthly card ratings

Rich,
I use a 256GB sd card to eliminate any potential for running out of storage space. Must be formatted, but provides a tremendous amount of recording time.
This is the one I have: Ron

I got 2 from Amazon for my Z06 when I placed the order for it. I have used Sandisk SD cards in my older Canon EOS 1 DSLR for years and the new ones I ordered didn't look right and the labels weren't affixed properly. Comparing them to the other identical model Sandisk cards I had the label print quality was different. I returned them and got 2 more from B&H where I get all of my photo gear which were identical to the SD cards I had gotten in the past. At least Amazon was an easy return.
There are so many vendors for Amazon that even ordering the same product twice in one year may result in two very different products.
I buy a lot from Amazon due to convenience but be cautious. My newest DSLR requires a Cfast card and a couple of choices on Amazon turned out to be regular CF spec memory used with a Cfast card layout so it wouldn't provide the required write speed. Be glad that SD cards are so low priced, the two 256 GB Cfast cards I bought for the new camera were $450 apiece, ouch!

OP, the micro is much smaller than the standard. A little wider is ok for the slot, but if it looks huge, you got the wrong one. But as I said, I am pretty sure you got the right one.

I use the free formatting software at this link: https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter/index.html
Directions are there too.
