You have to delete recordings. Kind of a pain in the car, but just take the card out and delete them on a computer then pop it back in... I have a huge card, holds a ton, so I don't have to do that very frequently. I mostly use it as a dash cam...
Does it record over previous recording when it reaches it's limits? Or do you have to do a reset? I haven't bought one yet.
I use 32gb disc. I get 785 minutes of recording time. if it gets full i just delete previous recordings in the car it takes a few minutes to do but very easy and its ready to go again
I use a 256 GB PNY card.... crapload of recording minutes.... :-) Not as easy to delete all of those from the car which is why I delete from the computer.
There's a setting within the PDR settings that you can set to record over existing when full. This eliminates the need to manually delete.
I have to disagree with that sir. The only time the PDR will record over the previously recorded items is in teen or valet made otherwise each one has to be deleted individually according to owners manual section 7-1 for 2015 model and the settings in the PDR.
I’m studying up on these. Why would that (valet) not be suitable for normal driving? I’m guessing it doesn’t record in a loop and would have to be erased when it gets full?

While in Valet mode will record over the oldest recording first should it become full. It doesnt record in a loop on the normal setting
