Costco works for me - my only suggestion is to run them through the wash once before you use them. You would be surprised where these have been (and what they may have picked up) before they hit your store shelves.

My detailer, who owns a great high income detail shop, only uses Costco microfiber towels. I'm gonna have to go buy me some. It's not the first time I've heard Costco towels.

The auto detailing section has great tips on products and services. Personally, I like the Gray MF towels offered by Adams. It's amazing how clean you can keep your car with just a good MF towel and a little detail spray or waterless wash.

I like 'em for using waterless carwash spray (from Griots too of course!).

All right, how much do you use the towel before you wash it ( special soap for micro fiber ) also the washing machine must be SUPER clean, no dirt or sand particles from previous loads )

I tend to do all cars in succession, so I wash them immediately when I'm done with the vehicles with Gyeon MF wash. Then air fluff cycle in the dryer, no heat.

Conversely you could mix some of that wash in a bucket and just drop them into it to soak until youre ready to wash in the machine.

i never wash them before using. When new, I just shake them a bit to get rid of a couple of lint ***** and they work fine. I dispose of them when dirty

Rag Company for the good stuff. I use the Costco ones for general cleaning since they are cheap and generally work well.

Another vote for Costco Microfiber towels. When you go there, try their hot dog and soft drink combo for under $2.00. Then get a vanilla yogurt to enjoy while your walking around the store.
