My 2014 had CQuartz Finest applied. My 2019 now has Ceramic Pro. Both products provide exceptional shine. The secret is the prep work to correct issues in the factory paint.
Search ceramic coatings as frankmp suggested and you'll get a lot of info, even many video's. I plan on doing mine when it warms up (garage not heated). What I do know is that a lot of prep work required first. Good wash, clay bar, paint correction, etc. As far as which is best I don't know but sure is confusing trying to decide.

I thought was the on'y person that bought the same color every time! '13, '15 & '19 all grays!
Did you do the coating or take it somewhere. I am not looking to do it myself but to take it in somewhere.

I paid to have it done by professional detailed who is certified to do the application.
You can apply yourself, provided you have a DA polisher, compounds, and pads. Iron/Tar remover and claying are required to get the paint perfect before the coating goes down. It just takes time, about a whole day. Then the car can't go outside for 24-36 hr, because it cannot get rained on.
Otherwise get a pro to do it, but do ask him which product he's applying.
Would like any information on ceramic coating my car's paint. Met someone at Spring Mountain course that said he has done it to all his cars.
Thanks
I had this put on my Grand Sport, could be a DIY if paint correction isn't too bad https://avalonking.com/ I was at Sring Mountain 4 12-13
What a BLAST!
Ceramic coating can be done at home providing you have the time & tools to get it done, Adams Polishes has a kit for this along with videos that you can watch to get comfortable with the process

I had my 2017 ZO6 professionally done. They washed, clay barred, then coated it. The took the wheels off, and did them and the inside, and well as what they could in the engine compartment. It took 5 days and cost $1000.00.
The car looks great, doesn't spot from rain, and blows dry easily! They used a product called Gtechniq. Has a 10-year guarantee, and they recommend having it redone every year! I am VERY pleased with it!
For owners that have it - what do the shops recommends for annual maintenance to preserve the ceramic coating?
tia.
Mine is coated with Ceramic Pro. It has a lifetime warranty if I take it back yearly for polish and new top coat. That fee is $250 to maintain the warranty.

What good is the warranty if you have to redo it every year?
It’s not difficult to do at all, just takes a good full day to do it right . I’m at over 2 years with my diy Wolfgang uber ceramic coat on my daily driver with no maintenance besides washing it and it has held up just like the day I did it. $110 for kit on sale.
Seems you could apply the top coat but I bet they won't honor that warranty wise. What a racket.
When I had my shop we wash the car with a soap specifically meant for ceramic coatings We put on a 2 new top coats but spent time inspecting the base coat(s) If we saw anything going on, ie some of the coating did not look right we corrected the situation. Even if they were customer induced... ie scratches, etc.
Side Note: Most people don't know this and I would guess detail shops that apply the coating don't know this, but you need to wash the car periodically with a soap specifically for Ceramic Coating. Those washes maintain the integrity of the coating. Washing with standard wash is OK, NEVER use a wash that contains a wax.
i used the following two products with great success. Gyeon Bathe+ Feynlabs Car Wash
