I like my C7. I specifically want a front engine car. I love the look of that long hood and short rear deck. I may buy a C8 in the future though (and keep my C7). I'm going to wait and see what the performance variant is going to look like. There are rumors swirling about a twin turbo DOHC version.....I think that might be fun.

Let's wait and see what it actually looks like and how the numbers play out. As of now, no plans on buying one. For now the C7 is still making both of us smile.

My co-pilot is not a C8 fan and I'm 50/50 on the "Corvette" character of the car.

Assuming it looks good with all the camo off, I plan to get one. However it’ll be down the road when I can get a GS/Z06 whatever mid tier variant, get 15-25% off MSRP, and it’s been out long enough that if it has issues hopefully GM has most of them sorted out.

I am too old and old school to want a C8. I am a California kid who grew up in the 60's on Chevy power and the ultimate Chevy, the Corvette. Corvette will always be a front engine high horse power car with 3 pedals. I have had many and just took delivery in October of my last a 2019 Z06 in Elkhart Lake Blue with a 7 speed. I love the development and progression of the platform but it has just crossed into a area that I will not explore but enjoy watching its development.

Apples and oranges if you ask me. I wouldn't mind getting a C8 after a year or two of production. We'll see.

It's going to be interesting to see how much markup dealers put on their first allocations. I've seen a 28% markup on a C7/ZR1 from MSRP and the dealers don't bat an eye (neither did the all-cash customer who bought it).

Love the look of the C8 but will wait for the convertible to be introduced.

Well I like the idea depends on getting in and out comfort level of seat comfort level of seats hint GM don't need a racing seat. Can I take a trip in it or is it gonna be one of those look at me cars driven to the country club and to the office on a big occasion to show off. I buy for performance not to be seen in.

That would be a determining factor for me. Travel worthy. Personally I don't care about showing off my car. But I did drive my brothers 2012 Viper from Portland, Or to Reno, Nv and back. Ouch! The most uncomfortable car I have ever driven.

hmmm.... I just can’t see the C8 as a convertible! If so it will be pretty ugly. Maybe removable Targa top maybe, but convertible, just can not see it.

I'm good with my C7 GS right now but I'm very intrigued by the C8. Hopefully they won't wait until the fourth model year to introduce a GS like the C7.

hmmmm....guess I don’t know what to look for. Also, this thing is going to be tight on space. You add the mechanism and storage for the top, no golf clubs or anything else for that matter.

Love my C7 and not thrilled with the camo cars but will make a final decision after the reveal. I put myself on a wait list a long time ago just in case I decide I want it.

Both were fueling up and if you looked close you could see diff in two cars. My buddy at dealer called my attention to it. I believe gas fill for one.

Also, in 3-5 years prices will drop, one reason that I bought a new 2017 C7 rather than a new 2014. It's not like driving a C7 rather than a C8 is sitting in a penalty box unless one really, really wants to have the very latest thing.

I don't know how anybody can think they know what the C8 REALLY looks like. The camo is still hiding much of the features that will make or break the final product. I'm definitely in the wait and see camp. The leaked C7 stuff did nothing for me, but when the actual car was revealed, I had to have one. I'm expecting the C8 actual reveal to do the same, but I won't know until the actual reveal in July.

Love my 2019 GS - manual vert. I am open to the C8 and don't have enough information to come to any conclusions. If the C8 has no manual vert option, my interest is likely to be very low. I'm thrilled with what I have and what happens down the road a few years is yet to unfold.
