All I can say is I think the C4 had the best, smoothest and most slick looking lines of any generation...

(even more so than the C7)

C1 especially when they added the cove on the doors. That is when I first decided someday I would own a Corvette. That was about 1959
C4 In 1990 I bought a used 1985 Corvette. My first.
C7 I have owned four C7s. Now I have a 2019 Grand Sport
C5
C6 The first new Corvette I ever bought was a 2011 Grand Sport

Not necessarily - I do believe ALL sports cars should offer a manual transmission BUT the real reason the C8 is last is because its becoming TOO European to me... The Corvette is an american muscle car - and sadly I dont think the C8 looks "american" in any way... I wish nothing but the utmost success for the C8 (out of respect for the Corvette name / brand) but its just not for me...

I feel exactly the same way. I will say that I do like European cars but I dont think the Corvette should be one of them.
