Default Missing tool in battery cover?

We picked up our first Corvette yesterday. Item checked off my wife's bucket list! StingRay 2LT, soft top. I noticed on the battery cover a cutout that looks like it is for a ratchet or other tool. Does anyone know if something should be in there?
Thank you all.

For tow hook, standard on European cars.

The tow hook is not provided by the factory. However both the front and back receivers are there. If you want the tow hooks you can get them from ZL-1 Add-Ons: https://zl1addons.com/collections/corvette-tow-hooks I am going to order a set for my car if ZL-1 ever decides to answer the questions I sent them by e-mail. They have ignored 2 e-mails so far.

Don't know about other years but my 2019 1LT has both the front and rear receivers installed from the factory.
