Default Help/Advise?

I sent this to Chevrolet customer service via a pm, but thought that I should post it as well.

Here is my story

I've been in the process of rebuilding a 2014 from a light flood and had to replace the Cluster, EBCM and Rear Clutch Module. Prior to starting this project I talked to acdelcotds about the project and they gave me information on the equipment needed and articles/video to read and view to accomplished reprogramming, I when ahead and purchase the equipment and the subscription.

However, When I attempted to program these modules I was not able to do so because of the following reasons:

The ebcm required a security code
The instrument cluster required a VIC to transfer odometer reading from BCM to cluster
The rear clutch module would set a message of error in the programming and to call acdelcotds for assistance.

All of these things could be easily taken care through acdelcotds but as I said they will not assist me. These code only effects my vin, no other and my car has no lien as I'm 100% owner. Seems I would owned these security and vic codes.

I contacted acdelcotds where they told me something completely different than a few weeks earlier.
They said GM does not allow them to assist me, ( a private individuals ) working on a rebuilt car in any way!

I tried to contact GM directly but there is no return in any of my email or messages.

I could use some help with this.

Start here - Electronics right to repair:

The right to repair concept has generally come from the United States. Within the automotive industry, Massachusetts passed the United States' first Motor Vehicle Owners' Right to Repair Act in 2012, which required automobile manufacturers to provide the necessary documents and information to allow anyone to repair their vehicles. While not passed at the federal level, the major automobile trade organizations signed a memorandum to agree to abide by Massachusetts' law in all fifty states starting in the 2018 automotive year.[1]
Good luck!
