Default Newbie questions

I just purchased a 2019 GS ragtop./
I am looking to do somebody modifications but I am confused as to terminology.
The GS comes with a rear spoiler. What is involved in upgrading it to a Z05 spoiler?
I had poverty splitter but removed it to install the ground skid plate. What is the diff between stage 2 or 3 splitter?? Also side skirts: the GS comes with a shorter version. What is the upgrade side skirt. I saw ASC has a Z07 side skirt. What makes it different?
Wigles what are they??
to much info need some clarification.
Thanks
Fred

For the spoiler there is stage 1 stage 2 and stage 3 I believe. Short spoiler is stage 1, stage 2 has taller winglets as they are called, and stage 3 is same as stage 2 but has a clear plastic bridge between the winglets. Remove the screws on stage 1 and pull off and install the stage 2 or 3. I put stage 2 on my GS.

All the things you are talking about came with my Stage 2 Aero option on my Grand Sport. $2995 for carbon fiber splitter, full length side skirts and the larger rear spoiler. Mine are all painted carbon flash. The Visible Carbon Fiber Stage 2 Aero is made the same BUT the cost is $3995. The rear spoiler is painted carbon flash in both cases.

As far as the front splitter winglets, that option comes with smaller winglets and I changed to Stage 3. Here are pics of both, top pic Stage 2, two below Stage 3 Winglets. Pic of rear shows spoiler.

C7 Carbon. It's not the "them" you see on some others, its a one piece with fins (technically called fences) more like on the C7R race car They currently have a sale for the Carbon Fiber painted carbon flash that matches the lower rear bumper for ~$700. I bought their CF splitter for my 2014 Z51- good company.

This is my PDF on the install:
http://netwelding.com/Rear_Diffuser.pdf

You'll see my 2014 Z51 splitter and side skirt etc install PDF's at the end- have over 25!

RE the rear spoiler. Believe if you search the Forum there is a way to install the rear spoiler extensions. They are two separate side pieces that screw to the spoiler. May not be exactly like OEM, but that requires removal of the rear bumper. I recall suggesting someone use "Rivet Nuts" and they did to install them.

Be careful with terminology. The front splitter has winglets, short or long. The rear spoiler has extensions on each side and a plastic piece that can be added to the center. It's properly called a Wicker but lots of confused wording. Increases drag quite bit. Tadge has posted drag numbers essentially with and without (0.40 without; 0.50 with) - not worth it IMO.

Yep, look at the last few pages. You'll see links to about 40 other PDF's with ~25 "How To " info on other C7 "stuff" including adding side skirts, splitter, changing a battery (not as easy as other cars) etc etc. Been at it since I got my September 2013 built Z51 C7!
