Hold straight edge next to tire what to see if it come in and out. Mine did tires wore good except toe ruined inside tread on front. Mine were spun on balancer stand at back you could see with naked eye but we put a ruler next to rim to verify.
three out of four so how did I bend two fronts and left year and miss the right rear.

M7 Z06 w/Z06 gets extremely rigid in track mode, not only is street a bad idea I was informed that there are certain tracks you should not use it. I will be getting the update this year, have to see how it goes.

I didn't notice a thing and I'd consider myself very sensitive to my vehicle's performance. The tire dealer told me I probably wouldn't notice it as the wheel wasn't bent "bad", but I could see the inside edge moving when he spun the wheel on the balance machine.

No pressure loss, no indication of a bent wheel... until I saw it on the balance machine.

Not me...I'd love to know how many with cracked / bent rims were in "track mode" at the time.

2017 Z06 with 11500 miles. Nothing I can see as far as bends or cracks. No tire pressure loss and no odd vibrations. Changed tires at 8500 miles to all seasons. Nothing found wrong with the wheels at changeover. Car is in sport mode almost exclusively. Spectra grey wheels.

Quite a few with cracks claim they have never used it.

This is not a mode issue. After it is bent, track mode could make it crack faster but this is a result of inferior wheel compound, run flat tires and 11 inches of unsupported cantilever weight on the rear wheels and 9 inches on the front!

2019 GS - 4000 miles - no issues so far. I've hit a few pot holes at speed as well. I normally drive in sport or tour.

OP. You need to make a poll to gauge the issue imo.

And make sure its public.. not private so people who don't own one can't skew results.

Driving in track mode/sport mode causes wheels to crack/bend. FALSE. This is not true. Drive modes have nothing to do with wheel damage.
My .02 is, the forces acting on the vehicle is a component of vehicle mass and speed. F = MA. Both these components do not change with the vehicle mode, so i don't see how driving it in track/sport mode contributes to wheels bending.

Please read the post below, a response from Tadge himself, the corvette's chief engineer.

Here is the thread and his response for the folks who are interested. Lets end this misinformation right here

Now that's interesting:

I can see why your wheel wasn't bent in this case;
Almost all bending occurs on the inside portion of the wheel. This impact was done on the outside of the wheel which is far stronger due to the support the outside of the wheel gets from the spokes along the outside edge. The inside edge has no such support and is bent very easily.

No issues as far as I know with my Z06 wheels. I still can't understand how folks are getting bent wheels without hitting anything. It's impossible it seems to me. Is the weight of the car just too great and they bend while parked?
