I'm sure this is an easy question but it eluded me today. I factory reset the infotainment system (2014 Z51) and set my home address as my home location. However, it wasn't obvious how to call up that location later on to navigate home. The interface on this thing is a bit clunky I must say. I was randomly mashing buttons while weaving in and out of traffic and gave up. I even searched on "Home" in destinations and it didn't show up. Brutal!
I could assign it to one of the generic buttons if desired but that isn't the question.

Just throwing this out there, but when you say you Set it, did you Save it, and, have you used it yet ?
If you saved it, it should be in Contacts and show your address at least.
If you used it at least once after you put it in, it should also show up in Recent.
Keep in mind, folks, this is a '14, which doesn't act the same way as other years in the infotainment system and nav.
I don't use "home" often enough, either, and it usually takes me a few stabs at the screen, too. Every time I hit contacts, it makes me try to edit it as the first option.
And a tip ... don't put your home address in your Nav. Put something in the general area which will suffice to get the Nav to find its way out of unfamiliar areas. If you put your actual address in the Nav, someone stealing your car could navigate there and use the garage door opener to gain access to your home.
All they'll get is a bunch of tools I want to divest myself of. Joke's on them.
Oh, wait!
They could do the same if they just opened up the glove box and look at the registration. Seems simpler than trying to figure out how to get "home" on a nav system that a bunch of us who own the car can't quite nail down.

That's a good point. It's an approximate address already as it didn't recognize my street number.
It's an odd oversight that there isn't an option to disable the opener if the key isn't within range. It's really a security issue if somebody breaks into your car in your driveway. That said, most Corvettes will probably already be inside a garage at night so it would be of limited benefit? I wish my daily driver beater car had that feature. We've had a rash of those type of break-ins in my neighborhood recently. I could bring the opener inside, but who can remember to do that every day??
I just set my 'home' address (an intersection a couple of miles away) by selecting intersection, entering the data, touching the white check marks in the upper right corner when prompted, touch 'Save', then before exiting the screen, selecting a button on the bottom to save it to the favorites list alongside radio favorites.

Don't have a garage, but the homelink button will open the gate to my apartment complex...
Your car registration already states your address if thieves want it bad enough.
Important to reset your NAV if you sell it though.
It's a good idea to black out your street address and house number on your car's registration and insurance card in your car. Should someone break into your car or you get car jacked, the bad guys won't have your exact home address.

In my state, that could get you a free ride in a police car.
