If you have a 2LT or 3LT be sure to install the provided cargo covers which will help a bit with the noise. Also, add a cargo mat, and if that isn't enough there are aftermarket sound deadening kits available.

I’m glad that several posters have mentioned that they also own Mustangs. They are very different cars from ‘Vettes and can be enjoyed in an “and” sense rather than in an “instead of” sense. Personally I’ve owned 3 late model Mustangs including a 2011 GT500 and I’m currently restoring a ‘66 that proudly shares garage space with my Corvette daily driver.

Thanks, Robert! Yes, I have the 2lt and that is good to know because that cover was not pulled up all the way and I plan to look into the mat and other means as well.

Now that is what I call having the best of both worlds! If I could have only kept them all. I like to watch "bring a trailer" from time to time and recently someone stole this one.

Hate it. How could you spend money on that? Too low, too wide, too fast and too many scoops!!

But seriously, Congrats on a great looking ride. You will not regret going down the GS path. Welcome and enjoy!!

If you only knew that I almost gave up because I couldn't get the color combo/manual I wanted until I asked were there any more GS coming from and sure enough there it was showing being transported. So the next few minutes were filled with anxiety because my sales guy had to go find out it if a customer had ordered it..... It's funny how things work in the end. You know I didn't realize how hard it is to find a manual and there was only 2 of 10 on the truck and the other was a Z06. I was very fortunate! It was almost like I had ordered it.

It was the very last one to come off the truck!

Man, what an absolute knockout!! Ya done good, brother!! Enjoy it, and take it easy on the break-in period, and good times are right around the corner!! Hell, I put like 800 miles on mine in the first weekend I had it!
