Just a suggestion but the car's features are included in the owner's manual. Lots of good information in there.

To be more specific, it turns the interior motion sensor off and on. If you get out with the key fob and have a passenger in the car the alarm will go off if the passenger moves. It doesn’t affect the basic alarm features.

Even more specifically, it's the intrusion/inclination alarm switch. In addition to the interior motion detector, it allows you to disable the inclination alarm. It's for times when you need to either tow it or jack it up.

Yes. Found this out the first time I jacked it up without turning it off. I had remembered seeing something about it in the owners manual but had forgotten about it. Started jacking up the front to add my poverty splitter and the alarm goes off. FYI, it is loud in the garage. hahaha I thought it was just a basic alarm like motion or entry.
