Technically the dealer "SHOULD" fill a 2019 GS with the new dexos certified 0W-40 ESP Mobil 1!
But if you don't have a Vette oriented dealer they may not carry and some parts departs don't understand the difference between the European 0W-40 that Walmart has now for $22.88 for a 5 quart jug (like most other Mobil 1 oils) and the new ESP dexos certified stuff! he European stuff is NOT dexos approved. Heck BMW, Mercedes etc who specify it's use could care less if GM gets their "tribute" for every quart sold!
When I called a large Chevy dealer in town, assuming I could get a ~30% discount (used to get a mechanics discount by asking, which was ~50% but 30% was the best I could get for an AC filter on my fist 2014 Z51 oil fill since Walmart nor Advance Auto had it in stock.) BUT GM's list price is high so paid more than I pay now at Walmart. Dealer's parts guy said, "Don't have it but can get it by noon." Yep Napa, O'Reilly's etc deliver to them all the time but don't carry the new Mobil 1! A number of Forum posts where the none dexos European 0W-40 was used by a dealer! Be sure to clarify!
For Fun looked up the oil prices from names in the above posts:
Summit Racing: $10.67/quart
Amazon: $11.16/quart
Horse Power Addicts 10 quart case: $12.50/quart
Walmart (ordered for pick-up not in store): $9.38/quart
What I buy from Walmart and will for my next change before the rebate through September is over for this ~6 months:
5W-30 dexos certified (per my GS Owner's Manual) : $22.88/5 quart Jug = $4.58/quart. After the $12.00 rebate per jug (4 now allowed) = $2.18/quart! (Note should be able to apply for the rebate from all but Amazon.)

Keep in mind there are other Dexos 2 certified oils: http://www.gmdexos.com/brands/dexos2/index.html for example both Valvoline and Castrol.

Tons available at Costco. You just missed the sale.
Imagine if it's confusing to some of us, a GM parts guy or even a C7 Tech could easily be confused for mistake one for the other. Many of these folks are not "gearheads!" When they go home the watch basketball and football and don't think about their "precious Vette" like many forum folks! Can't expect them to be up-to-date on every GM subtly oil difference or anything else!

Look for this stuff at Wal-Mart or online. You don't need zero weight in Atlanta. It is Dexos 2 and Valvoline MST=Mobil ESP.

Another option is Speedway Motors, $107 shipped for 12 quarts. Rebate eligible as well.

UGH! The a$$wipes that perform the Mobil-1 rebates just reject my receipts I submitted. One was for tranny fuild from Summit Racing, and another was from Walmart where I on-line ordered the 0W-40 Dexos! They stated that the receipts needed to be the originals?!?! I uploaded the original on-line order confirmations. Do they expect paper online order confirmations? Don't they understand online orders are electronically sent? Walmart put no paperwork in the box with the oil, and I scanned in the papers Summit sent in the box. Unacceptable!
WTF?
Of course I submitted them again. I think since they took 6 weeks to reject them, I wonder if they will just keep rejecting them till the rebate runs out.
Maybe I'll try printing them if they reject them again and snail mail them in...

Got mine from the dealer for the first oil change at 900 miles (2019 1LT Stingray). $7.96 a quart.

My last two rebates came from Walmart, but these were in-store purchases and submitted on-line with scanned receipts. Mobil1 doesn't accept Amazon purchases, so perhaps this extends to all on-line orders. In four years of getting on-line rebates from Walmart in-store purchases I've never had one declined.

I ended up getting the original 5w30 Mobil 1. Thats what's in there now. No biggie. And probably one track event this calendar year. Hopefully more next year.
We'll see...
