I was giving that oil some thought, but with normal driving, I'll stick to what the owner's manual recommends, in my case, Mobil 1 5w30.

Most likely not going to find it off the shelf. Just order it. I ordered mine from Horse Power Addicts on a Friday night and had it Tuesday, and believe I saw a post here the other day where they have it at good price.

Thanks guys. I suppose even with the original oil, which is what's in the car now, will be fine for my first track event. Being a super beginner and driving with an instructor, I won't be going crazy hard on it. And no idea when my next one will be.

Haven’t found it anywhere around here either - but since I do not track my car, will be sticking with the 5W30 as recommended in the owner’s manual. Your best bet may be to find it online and order it.

Order it, don't bother looking on a shelf yet.

I'm approaching the first oil change mileage point (4k miles currently) on my 2019 Stingray. The owner's manual suggests 0W-40 Dexos 2, but also states 5W-30 Dexos 1 Full Synthetic is acceptable as well. I wonder if my local Chevy dealer will have the 0W-40 ? I'm thinking , not likely.(?). I don't track my car, so it probably won't make that make of difference for strictly street use. I've always preferred to put whatever it rolled off the assembly line with, back into it. Guess I'll find out soon enough....

Most likely the dealer has 5w30 dexos in bulk 55 gal drums, If requesting another viscosity, there may be extra charges.
