Window sticker
Just purchased a new Grand Sport and the dealer lost the Window Sticker, before I picked up the car. He said he can't replace it. He said I can purchased one through the Corvette Museum but they want around $50. Would like to know if there is somewhere on line I can get one. I have in the past gotten a few from Ford at no cost, but Chevrolet does not offer a site I can find. Thanks

If it is a brand new car, then by federal law, they should not have removed it. I would go back to the dealer and make them aware that you were not given the opportunity to remove the sticker, nor was it given to you. The dealer should be able to either print one or should buy you one from the Corvette museum.
"The Monroney sticker is required to be affixed to the side window or windshield of every new car sold in the United States and can only be removed by the consumer (Chapter 28, Sections 1231-1233, Title 15 of the United States Code). A fine of up to US$1,000 per vehicle for each offense is authorized if the sticker is missing, and other fees and penalties are authorized if the sticker is altered illegally (including imprisonment).[4] The act does not apply to vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of more than 8,500 lb (3,856 kg)." There is a QR code on your door jamb (2018 and newer). If you have a QR scanner on your phone, you can scan the code and it will list all the service parts identification codes that your car was built with. There are numerous sites that will decode the meaning of the 3 character build codes.

I don't believe you can get them (or never heard of anywhere) other than the NCM.

What’s the VIN? Many times the sticker is available online to at least view in PDF form. Plug it into google.

with my buddy Rich. Your dealer can get one. He's the one that lost it, and he should be the one that foots the bill for another. He can get you one from the Corvette Museum just as well as you can. Print out this thread, and use the info Null Pointer gave you. That should surprise your jackleg dealer sufficiently enough.

That doesn't sound right, yo, your Chev. dealer's be jivin' you, yo. Take that up with the dealership General Manager. If that does not work, call and email the ownership of the dealership. Then, as a last resort contact and complain to Chevrolet.

The monroneylabels website list above will get you a "label", but it will NOT be the same as the original sticker. It will look something like the following:
I thought the dealers could request a duplicate, and I found the following:

just tell your dealer to go to BARS in global connect and request a new price/fuel label for the VIN. It will be mailed to the dealership in about 10 days.

I have a friend fighting with a dealer now on a new car purchase a so called lost sticker but when he looked up the option codes he found out the dealer swapped his 3000 optional wheels and tires were swapped with a standard set yet his pricing was based on a msrp with the optional wheels . Dealer claims what he saw is what he bought .

Don't ask your salesperson. Speak to a sales manager or office staff member. They should know how to get you your replacement and they should get it at no cost to you since they destroyed the original.

Tell your dealer that they "owe" you one....either you get one through NCM & they pay you or they can do the leg work

That is exactly why, on a new car purchase, Federal law requires that the consumer be the one to remove the sticker. This way, a consumer can verify that the vehicle they are paying for has what it is supposed to have on it.

Was getting service at a dealer last week on another vehicle. Every new vehicle on the lot had the window sticker's removed. I thought it was odd to see them all removed but had no idea there was a federal law specific to this.
