Was getting service at a dealer last week on another vehicle. Every new vehicle on the lot had the window sticker's removed. I thought it was odd to see them all removed but had no idea there was a federal law specific to this.
If they tint all the windows ahead of time they have to remove it from the window. Lots of dealers do that but usually then lay it on the dash.
According to the post above though that may be illegal...
Also 499 dollar **** window tint should be illegal also.
The dealer can order you a new replacement window sticker at no cost to you. I had a torn one and it was replaced with a new one ordered from the dealer. Speak to the sales manager. All new cars are required by law to have a window sticker price label. If it is missing or damaged the dealer can order a replacement.
