Just finished an event at Area 27 in British Columbia and have a lot of video recorded. (those of you near there need to check it out; it is an incredible top-notch layout). I used a 64GB card in the PDR slot and in the car everything looks great; full track map, telemetry etc. However, the files are not recognized on my PC, I assume because I used a large capacity card which I did not format to FAT 32. When I plug in the card to my PC, there are no files recognized; I put it back in the car and I can view them just fine. Is it too late to do anything about it now? I'd like to be able to view them on a larger screen and also be able to use the Cosworth Toolbox.
So - the files do exist and are read / write from the card using PDR.
First - slide the write protect switch on the SD card so you don't erase or format the SD card by accident.
Your PC does not recognize the SD card file structure. If you right click on the SD card in Windows Explorer and select Properties - what do you see? Size? File type? Space used / available?
Do you have a Windows PC or a MAC? Do you have access to another Windows PC? My only thought is to use a computer that can read the SD card to copy the files off to a USB flash drive or different SD that is compatible with your PC.
If I recall correctly, Cosworth Toolbox is only available for Windows.
Yes, they are all there and I can view on the PDR.
Did not even know there was a write protect switch...learned something new today
Right click = Used space 0 bytes and free space 0 bytes
I have a Windows PC; also tried with a card reader on my ipad.
I will also try reading on another PC.
When I plug it into either PC, it asks if I want to format the disk. When I say no, it says the files aren't in a recognizable format or could be corrupted (but we know they aren't)
Thanks for your input.

Reason: Additional info
It looks like the PDR supports only FAT32 SD up to 32 GB although I am sure there are ways around this. Knowing the file format on the as purchased SD card might help - possibly need to load a utility to your PC that can read the format.
I guess you'll have to wait for a more computer literate guy to chime in.
Yeah, I will check with my IT guy. I messed up by not formatting in FAT32 to start with. I think 32GB cards and less are already in this format. Outsmarted myself (not difficult to do) by getting a large capacity card. Thanks anyway.
SD cards of any size have to be formatted FAT32 for your car PDR to use it. If your PDR is happy, it is strange that your PC isn't - usually it's the other way around.
Yes, any size works as long as it's formatted Fat32. Based on adivce from this site, I bought the 128g Sandisk SD from Costco. It works great, and provides over 3000 minutes of recording time. Works great with Cosworth, and I also have VLC player on my desktop and on my IPhone. I use an older version of Itunes to download the PDR files from my desktop to my Iphone.
