Replacement mirror
Had somebody damage my passenger side mirror. The plastic mount is broken away from the mirror glass !!!Can you buy a replacement for this or do you have to buy the whole mirror?

You have to buy the entire outside mirror assembly. New OEM is ~$300 but it’s unpainted so another $150 or so to paint. I’d recommend getting a used good condition one from a wrecked car on EBay. These usually go for $200-300. The install isn’t too difficult. Just remove the interior door panel, 10” woofer and unbolt the entire mirror assembly.

Without pics hard to tell but from your description it sounds like you may just need replacement glass. Or if the glass isn't broken the "plastic mount" is just stuck to the glass with a double stick product.

On the glass there is a plastic part and right in the center where it seems to snap in is broke. There seems to be a plastic part on the glass and one on the mirror. Not sure if they snap together or just attach at center. Like to be able to just replace the glass.I have it stuck on with plastic weld but don’t think it will stay.
