Finished installing an MGW shifter on hubris140's new Z06. I think he likes it!

Hey folks, just chiming in here. Pineapple installed the MGW shifter on my red Z06 (above) last week and he swapped out my diff fluid today. All I can say is THE HYPE IS REAL! Please give Pineapple a shot before going to the dealer. He really makes a difference and is a hoot to work with - very meticulous, careful and knowledgable. In talking to him, I learned a lot about my car too.

For those of you putting off modding or doing maintenance because its too expensive/time consuming to make the trip to Abel, please give Pineapple a shot. You wont regret it and you'll make a new friend!

Just finished swapping in OEM Adrenaline Red driver door panel, batwing and lower trim. My 2017 2LT had these in black with red stitching. The 2LZ Z06 and 2018'+ 2LT has these colored.

Can you help me with a front splitter protector for my ZO6/ZO7?

I live in Livermore.

@Pineapple - how's the quality of the long leather trim up top? My trim piece has dimples and lifting leather all over the place. Dealer replaced it but the replacement also has similar issues. Also, which supplier did you get yours from?

My original black batwing trim as well as the new red (both 2LT) use the grainy textured Mulan “leather” so it hides imperfections and creases very well. I do see some slight stretch marks on the edges but that is normal since these parts are indeed wrapped by hand, but not as severe as the ones in your pictures. The other 3LT/3LZ interiors I’ve seen do exhibit similar imperfections at the edges and corners of the trim pieces so I would say it is to be expected. I bought my parts from Tascaparts.com. Much like Cultrag Performance and Trunkmonkey Parts they source from the same GM warehouses, but are usually 10-15% cheaper.

Sure but I don't see myself going up to Livermore anytime soon. If you every come down to the San Jose I could help you with the install.

Swapped out my OEM Stage 1 spoiler with an APR Carbon Fiber track spoiler. APR carbon fiber quality is amazing, They use prepreg carbon fiber baked in an autoclave so it is solid carbon fiber and resin throughout. Then resin is super smooth with no pinholes.

Aaron,
I tried to PM these to you but it doesn't allow me to attach to a PM, so these are the APR Carbon Fiber Mirror covers on my Carbon Flash base as the blend very well together!.

Swapped in OEM Carbon Flash outer mirror housings. The upper housings can be swapped without taking the inner door panels off, however the mirror bases will require removal of the door panels.

Installed APR Carbon Fiber Mirror Housings on my C7. They were on backorder so it took 2 months for APR to produce them. Install was easy, about 30 mins each side. The instructions say to remove the door panel but thats actually not necessary. Just use some a tiny wrench on a torx bit to unscrew the 2 bolts underneath the mirror housing.
