I think once the C8 Vette hit the dealers and people see the price of a nicely accessorized (plus maybe the Z51 package) and the full MSRP (and many dealers adding to the MSRP); the C7 market values will hold pretty good for a while.

The C7 Z06 will do well until the C8 Z06 comes out and is out long enough for discounts to kick in.

The C7 ZR1 was such a short and small production run, I think they will retain a lot of their value just like the C6 ZR1 have been doing.

End crystal ball...

Salesmen are just that. Whether they sell lawn care, insurance or Corvettes. Their job is to sell and make as much as they can. None are your friends. If you have the opportunity, sell it yourself. Trade in is a compromise at best, not a win.

Lol, Wait till you can actually go & buy a C8, then we will see what happens to the C7 values

Ah yes true, but it's also people that can easily afford to buy new that are purchasing the used low mileage C7's, with the massive depreciation you could argue that used is where the smart money is going.

I agree. And it sure helps that the C7 is quite an awesome vette.

I just read one post where guys are canceling there orders for a C8 because of the cost. Wait till the C8Z06 comes out and start adding all the bells and whistles. That price won’t be pretty unless you have a money tree in your backyard. Lol.

No one has been able to cancel any orders yet since no orders have been taken.
The most shocking thing to me and many people I know about the C8 prices are how much lower they are than expected.
