Not only do they last longer, but they are also more powerful and MUCH lighter. You can drop 30 lbs.
So if you're looking to shed some weight too, we have the perfect battery for your Vette.
https://antigravitybatteries.com/pro...tive/ag-h6-rs/

It is a direct replacement, and it comes with full Battery Management System, over-charge and over-discharge protections, thermal protections, etc. And of course, it comes with our RESTART technology (wireless jump-starting) that will ensure you never get stranded with a dead battery again. No jump-starting, no push-starting or time-wasting on a dead battery. Simply press the Restart button on the Keyfob and start the car as usual! And if something ever goes wrong, there are no acids to ruin your engine bay. Plus, you get a piece of mind with our 5 year warranty.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Regards,

$700-$900 and you only get a 5 year warranty? Wow. I'll pass.

I replaced mine after 5 1/2 years here in Southern Arizona. It was still working fine, just decided not to push the odds.

BTW, I only had mine on a tender a couple times when I was out of town for a few weeks.

FWIW, the beginning of July I took my almost 4 1/2 year old C7 to the dealer for an oil/filter change. They also did the multipoint inspection, and advised the battery is fine. I use a Deltran trickle charger when car is idle for more than two days. Also, in my previous post I neglected to mention that I also have the Blockit mat in the hatch on top of the carpet, obviously adding to the insulation.

I've been on the original battery for over 5 years now. I drive it just about everyday and don't own a battery tender.

My car was built in November 2013 and I replaced the battery in May 2019. Battery was still performing well, just did some preventative maintenance before problems did arise.

Replaced mine three weeks ago after 3 1/2 years. I went on the Corvette Caravan and simply did not want to worry about a battery because the6 are not expense.

If you are thinking about your battery then replace it.

I am on the original battery and I go out of the 5 year warranty on 9/25. I have never gotten this much life out of a battery here where it is hot, hot, hot. I feel that I am on borrowed time.

Just passed the five-year mark - 90K miles - on my C7 never on a tender...

Am on my 6th Vette - more than 800,000K miles - never needed a jump start in 29 years - maybe tomorrow, but not as of today....

In San Diego and mine started having electronic gremlins at 4 years. Replaced battery and they went away.

In 60 years of driving Corvettes, Ive never had a battery fail me.. My last 4 cars all had Optima red tops. three of the 4 lasted Eight years without issue, and just replaced them for age. I have a ten year Red top Optima I use as a 12V power supply on my work bench. the 4th optima is still in the car.

In Phoenix its been between 2-3 years at most on every battery on every car truck and boat I own. They just don't last in this type of heat. Still have original in my 2018 GS, so we'll see how it does.

These are a good thing have. We also make a very cool product similar what you mention but it does a few things more, and better. Our unit is called the Antigravity Batteries Battery Tracker. Our product takes what their does a bit farther. For those who don't know this is a Bluetooth Device that easily connects to your Battery in about 2 minutes, just a Positive and Negative Connection, but then it will transmit all you battery data to your phone. For example you don't even have to be in the car to see the voltage. Just within about 40ft of the car and the BAttery Tracker will send all the Batteries Data to your phone.

Our products does quite a few things..For example you will see .the Real Time Voltage without even being in your car. No need for a Multi-Meter. You get a real-time numerical and graphical representation of that real-time voltage over the previous 5 minutes, as well as the previous 31 days of historical data of voltage broken down into an easy to use Phone App. It also has a Starting Test that shows how low your voltage went during the start attempt, which is a good indicator of battery performance and age, as well as a basic Alternator Charging test.

The 31 days of Historical data is very useful because you can actually see the full 24 hours of voltage data during all times the car is sitting or being driven.... so you can see how fast the parasitic drain draws down your battery over the course of days or weeks, you can see if and when any electrical accessories like ON-STAR kick in because you will see in the graph the Load on the battery. It also sends you warnings to your phone if your battery is low so you know to put it on a charger. So its a really good accessory to have but also great for basic diagnostics. You could even tell is someone took your car out without you knowing about it since the voltage will show the car start and when driving the alternator puts out a higher voltage which you can see. It give the exact time and date of any moment that you choose to review.

Below are some screen shots.. The first is the first page where you can see the real time voltage and a graphical representation of the previous 5 minutes of data which would allow you to see what might be cause a draw as you are testing the battery...

The lower Screenshot show one day of the 31 days of historical voltage and you can see the charging curve when driving you can see the resting voltage of the battery and by reviewing that data in the time line you can know how long you drove the car for, when you stopped, at what voltage the car was charging at, if you had any spikes in voltages and more. So it a very nice and simple to use Phone App for those who wish to monitor their battery.

I have a video below that also...

Battery Tracker by Antigravity Batteries. Bluetooth Wireless Battery Monitoring.
